PUR-metal joints

Polyurethane can be joined very highly adhesive with a variety of metallic and non-metallic materials. To ensure the necessary strength of the joint or enduring adhesion between metal and elastomer, both an appropriate design of the main body as well as professional pretreatment of the surfaces to be coated is required.

Through such material combinations it is possible to produce appropriate reinforcements or coatings. The metal part thereby takes over the role of the load-bearing body, the polyurethane coating serves as wear protection, damping, noise reduction, soft support etc.
